Aqeeda Foundation Course

This course is based on the well-known book Fundamentals of Tawheed by Dr. Bilal Philips. It begins with the essential concepts of Tawheed, Shirk, and a study of how different communities throughout history drifted away from pure monotheism.

These lessons provide a strong wake-up call — helping us recognize how similar deviations can subtly appear in our lives today, within our families, and even future generations. Understanding these issues becomes a key step in safeguarding our faith.

As the course progresses, we explore modules covering the Islamic framework of the human life cycle. These discussions offer clarity to many common emotional, spiritual, and practical struggles Muslims face — the very questions that sometimes shake our confidence despite being practicing believers.

In later modules, we study important and often misunderstood topics such as:

• Charms and Omens
• Fortune-telling
• The World of the Jinn
• Astrology
• Magic (Sihr)
• Ruqyah and Exorcism
•  

Beliefs about these subjects are frequently distorted in society. Some people deny their existence entirely, while others become excessively influenced or fearful. Both extremes are harmful.

By learning these topics through the Qur’an and Sunnah, we gain balance, protection, and stronger certainty in our faith.
