Surah Ali Imran Ayah 6
The ḥikmah of Allah and His designing within the womb go hand in hand.
This perfectly complements the emphasis on His absolute knowledge mentioned in the preceding verses. Whenever a particular design is decreed for any creation, it is done with Allah’s complete knowledge and wisdom. Every feature He assigns is perfect and it carries a reason rooted in His knowledge and ḥikmah.
This calls us to reflect deeply upon our own creation: our design, our abilities, and the unique skills Allah has entrusted to each of us. None of these are random or purposeless. To strive towards fulfilling the purpose behind our individual creation is itself a powerful expression of gratitude for this perfect design - both internal and external, tangible and intangible.
Moreover, the mention of Allah’s Might here carries an implicit warning. He reminds us that He alone possesses the power to create within the layers of darkness of the womb, shaping life exactly as He wills. Such power belongs to only One God, the Almighty and the All-Powerful.
This stands as a clear warning to those who associate partners with Him, affirming that none share in His creation, His might, or His wisdom.
